Hi Mike have you checked the rear axel bushes or spring hangers. Have had a similar fault which was caused by the rear axel floating too much. Good Luck.

How do i fix cv axels on a 2002 hyundai accent

It's not worth it to fix the axel, it is wise to replace the axels
by jacking up the car secure the car with jack stands, then remove the wheels, the big center nut of the axel and the lower bolts on the ball joint, then pry the lower control arm down and pull the hubb aside. Now u could remove the axel easily, if stuck take a hammer and tap it lightly, remove it, replace with the new but make sure both ends r lubed with grease.

Power steering pump stopped working, need layman's terms for fixing it yourself

Layman's terms?? No there is no way to do that for this repair. Do you have the pulley removed from the pump? It pulls off with a special tool. Also how do you know the pump is defective, did you test the pressures? It is more likely the steering rack and pinion has failed.

Cant get rear brake drum off

Does that truck have a floating axel? That is where you have the center hub with about 8 bolts that hold the axel shaft in. If that's the case, I'm pretty sure, the hub and drum have to be removed as an assembly. If there are no center bolts and it's just the end of the axel and it is stuck on the axel you may have to heat it with an oxygen/accetylne torch. If it's loose on the axel and the shoes are holding you have to go in through the hole in the backing plate (on the bottom) and back the adjuster off. The tricky part is holding the automatic adjuster arm out of the way so you can back the adjuster off. If you go in the hole with a screwdriver or brake adjusting you will only be able to turn that little wheel one way and that is tighter and you should hear the adjusting arm click. STOP you are going the wrong way. Take a small screwdriver and go under the adjuster on the back side (toward the rear of the vehicle), you should be able to feel the adjusting arm. Gently push the arm out of way, it won't move much, at the same time back the adjuster off. Good luck!

Just in an accident, how much is an axel

You would need to get in touch with your local recycling yard, as prices vary from place to place. buying new would be HELL to find, and expensive. it may not hurt to call a dealer.

Stucked wiper arms

Arm's still stuck, but the reason for this request was that my wipers didn't stop in correct position. They stopped in different positions and people advised me to replace all of it.
Insted i wanted to see if I could repair it.
I concluded that this was an electronic problem, not a mechanic.
I dissconected the battery cable's and the electrical cable to the wiperarm engine. Then I opened the lid on the bracket for the wiper-arm motor and pulled out the electrical curcuit board. Cleaned inside and sprayed with elektrospray for better contact on the electronic's. Also carefully sanded the contact's for the mechanic and applied new grease for the mechanic's.
This was all possible still with all mounted in the engine room of the car.
Now it work's properly.

Thank's for the e-mail, I will use this site when next problem appears.

Best regards
