In the auto parts store or in the tool section in a hardware store there is a long metal spring looking tool that has metal fingers that extend out when pushing down on the button and grab and retract when button is released
the tool is about 24 inches long most times it has a red T handle. if that will fit down the dip stick oil tube it should garb and hold the dip stick enough to remove it. next time when attaching an object back to the handle if it is metal clean / dry and try some JB weld pull test for rigidness and good contact.

Some times the tubes rot off. Make sure you look where the tube pulled off the block there's a small hole on the side of the block the tube goes into. If it rotted off you will have to replace it just make sure you get the other piece out of the hole.
SOURCE: can't change plug on plug next to firewall, under dipstick resivour.
yes take the 10mm bolt from the tube and wiggle the tube up out of the way

Hello! Screw a screw into the broken part in the block...Just to give a grip to pull out the broken part...The new tube (has an O ring) and is merely pressed into place...This is a common fault...The tubes are fragile and break easily...Guru.....Saailer
