That means it is off. Check your owner's manual for proper operation. I believe it could be in the glove compartment.

This means the Traction Control System has kicked on. Your wheels lost traction and it has actived. You can turn your TCS off by hitting the button and then it will stay lit. The Acura automatically resets this system to ON whenever you start your car so to turn it off you will have to keep pushing the button to off. Got that from another site. My fathers allante cadillac had traction control as well, I guess the more powerful front wheel drive cars have it, as traction can often be an issue.

If you do burn outs they can come on and stay on for about a day....just a suggestion if u do burn outs in it. It could also be from ur tires not getting enough traction because the ground is wet. These are some simple solutions to the problem. Some bigger problems are that maybe you havnt been keeping up with ur oil and your transmission is going, or ur transmission just old and worked to its max. Ur anti break system also goes hand in hand with your traction control system. If the car is shaking it could also be the belts on your wheels which is not a big deal. It could as well be detecting carbon levels wich is not a big deal either. The truth is, if the light is going on and off then dont worry about it. If it stays on for a day or two straight get it hooked up to a computer wich u can find at almost any mechanic.

I will add that when this light is on it means the trans has a fault/problem, no matter the fault code number of which there are about a dozen
