Question about 2001 Ford Taurus

1 Answer

Driver side mirror, 2002 ford taurrus

I scraped it off at burger king, stupid I know, Mirror hangs by wires now. Looks like 2 strange ?bolts? held it on. Mirrow is fine, I have gotten the inside door panel that covers mirror attachment off. What do I do? The plastic attachments parts on the mirror itself have snapped. I can see everything but I do not know how to "fix" the mirror back on the car. I don't even care if the electronics work anymore. I have been thinking of just drilling 2 new holes through mirror and door pieces, It looks like that would work. If the attachments were anything I'd seen before all would be different. How do I get the mirror bolted back onto the car.
