Sounds like a turbo bearing problem. They start off intermittent or at specific RPM's, then get worse with time.

Testimonial: "thats what iwas afraid of this but not sure. will start work on it. thanks."

SOURCE: whinning noise increases around drive belt area when accelerating

You may still have air in system if it got too low. make sure fluid is up & move slow & crank wheels back & forth all the way one way, then the other, and repeat 5 or 6 times or until it quiets down. Check fluid every so often while doing it. Has been known to take 10-20 times but it should eventually go away, unless some damage was done by being too low, too long, but lets not go there yet.

SOURCE: Loud noise coming from back passenger side wheel when backing up

sounds more like a brake wear sensor. The inner pads wear faster than the outer, so if you are checking pad wear, be sure to look at the inner pad. If you just had brake work done, one of the anti rattle clips on a pad may be contacting the brake rotor.

SOURCE: backing up very loud grinding like bearings

it sounds like the universal joints are going out. get them checked before its to late cause if they go out while your driving it can tear up the transmission and bend the drive shaft. I recently told a girl to change her's in her truck and she waited a couple of weeks and it broke while she was driving and it broke the end of the drive shaft off and broke the rear seal in the transmission!!! it will get exspensive very fast!

SOURCE: noise coming from transfer case when in 4 wheel

You need to check the fluid level to make sure its full,
Then if you could get access to a hoist so you can pin point your noise.

Belt tensioner noise

You can use a funnel and a section of heater hose to listen around the area, just be careful and not get the hose caught in the belt.
Or you can take the belt off and turn the pulleys by hand to check for bearing noise.

My 2001 Nissan Altima has a squeeking sound coming from the drivers side wheel. It only squeeks when the car is moving. And I don't think it squeeks when I use the brakes. What could be causing it to...

You will need to pull the wheel off and inspect the brakes. Spray some brake fluid cleaner on the rotor and disc area to clean the brake dust off. Next, have the wheel bearing checked and replaced, a bad wheel bearing would cause your wheel to squeak.
