I have a 1990 chevrolet 1500 w/t and when i want to move quickly and i give it some throttle im guessing that im shiftin the standard 5 speed at aroung 4.5 to 5 grand the mototr feels like it wants to...

sounds like your old mounts were going bad. The rubber parts can degrade over time, especially if they get oil on them, which it almost certainly has at some point. This is a fairly common occurrence, so it's nothing to worry about.

Tahoe 97 Fuel problems

Crank sensor has to be bad,or the ignition module.Remove the ignition module and have it checked at the parts store. If it checks bad, replace it,if it checks good replace the cranksensor. The cam sensor, cranksesor, and the control module control injector pulse, and coil spark.I would point more to the ignition module. But I have known the crankshaft sensor to do this also.I hope this was helpful,if so,let us know, thanks, and good luck.

I do not have a problem but want some information can you encreast the boost on the 2008 Sportage.

increased the boost as performance wise? im assumed you have 4cyc with 140 hp, i dont recommend you try to modified 4 cyc or v6 173 hp, kia has 7/100k mile warranty on them, any modification you will void all warranty. you can increase HP or boost in any car is you know what you doing. you can keep it basic. Put new air K&N intake, will give you another 5-8 HP to the car, redo exhaulst systems will also will add another 8-10 HP; add new high performace coil will also give easy 2-5 HP. running high octain gas will also help for boosting HP. hope that help little

97 chrysler concorde high idle around 2k in park

if anything is the out of position the least bit there would be a code thrown and you would have had a check or service engine light come on. not knowing if you have checked that or not, there could be several things it could be. without knowing all things you have done I dont want to start throwing things out at you to replace. that could get expensive.

96 tracker has no power

wow, you replaced everthing, wow that was $$
any mech and $200 would net an answer.
those changes were used parts im sure.

1:engine compression on mine is 180 psi all 4.
i have same exact car if it hits 180 ,the motor is fine, even 150)
2: clogged up injectors for sitting too long and the gas is bad ,which fouls the whole fuel system.
filter tank and injectors.

BTW motor is running lean.
unplug the maf and the ecu will mimic a virtual maf. can car will run fine, a tad rich.
if it dont run fine there are no injections.

a full scan tools works on all 96s and can tell you lots of facts.
Is the CEL lamp out running,
no,then pull code for free at autozone.

Tahoe will not start new fuel pump/w/filter

BE WARNED!!! i was a GM mechanic for years, i personally found out for myself, that many if those pumps bought from parts stores auto zone, orielly's, napa, etc... have the possibility of being bad from the factory, i once worked on a 98 silverado, the customer had replaced the pump 3 times with an auto zone pump, every time the pump would either not even start the truck or it would loose pressure within a week or two. after we installed a new GM pump he no longer had an issue, sometimes its worth it to pay a little bit more and buy a pump from a dealer, plus if you buy a GM part, it comes with a 5 year 100,000 mile warranty, even if you buy it over the counter and install it yourself.

Motor swap now it will not start

Unfortunately, there is no easy solution here. I had the same problem with my race car. I swapped a 96 2.2 into my 97 racecar and ended up having to also swap the engine wiring harness, computer, instrament cluster and pass module. The engine harness will bolt to the interior harness even though the wire colors are not the same. Just make sure you match the large yellow wire on the 96 harness to the large purple wire on the 97 harness. It sounds pretty complicated but it only took me maybe an hour to perform the swap. Now I'm back up and running and will be racing again this weekend.
