Question about 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer
The alarm in my car keeps going off at random moments. I replaced the battery in the keyer and checked my fuses. The alarm light blinks three times then goes off while the alarm is not keyed. Could it be a sensitivity problem or a sensor with loose wiring?
First you need to check all your fuses with a test light. The 12 volt light switch wire for the ilumimation of your gauges is just a park light feed, the best way to find it is using test light,it can be found in radio plug or park light switch or fuse board.Your check engine light is not so easy ,first I would check the bulb in dash, then you need to make sure of you lose wire tap connections the check engine light needs a feed to it to come on you need to check your aftermarket ecu wiring diagram to see where this is or get hold of a factory one to find it to see if you can manual trip it with test light.

Hi, You need to replace the alarm siren. It is also a module. It is located in the right front fender well. The reason they go bad is because they are located in a place where they get wet.

Try this,,turn the key on ,wait 10 minutes, then turn the key off, then right back on,do this three times,a total of 30 minutes, this should reset the key fob,if this is the problem.
