Camry door panel PDF file

Ed,
Yes, I did receive the PDF file. I can't thank you enough for all the assistance you have provided. I don't know why but removing that door panel looks intimidating to me. This is from a guy that has always done his own repairs going back to my 1971 corona with the, i'm no longer sure the 6RC or 8RC engine. I distinctly remember all i needed to replace the front brake pads was a pair of pliers to remove the retaining clips. As for the engine the only repair was the timing chain gears. That was a great car. 160 thousand miles and never left me stranded. Thanks again Ron K.

How do I just replace the door rod clip on the exterior handle of the front driver side door. It opens fine from the inside but not from the outside, and the clip that connects the rod to the handle neds to be replaced.

Can I get a copy of that PDF file, gabrielwomack@gmail.com.

    Thanks

Is the TX valve the same as an expansion valve for a Toyota Camry 1994?

Yes, Thermal Xpansion valve. Failure can certainly involve sticking shut. Locations shown here, p8 and p53. The receiver drier would be routinely replaced if the TX valve had failed that way.

How to erase toyota camry code obd 1

Hello, and welcome to FIxYa.

To erase the check engine light on a 1994 Camry, open the hood, and, in the engine compartment fuse box, remove the blue 15 amp EFI fuse for one minute. This will clear the codes. If you have a hard code; ie a malfunctioning sensor, the light will come right back on.

Thanks for choosing FixYa for assistance.

INSTALL SIDE VIEW MIRROR ON A 1997 TOYOTA CAMRY

Yes, you have to remove the door panel.

Remove the 2 plastic protectors on the front edge, and remove the 2 brass colored screws. Next, remove the push pins from the latch side. Push in, and pull out the whole thing. Next, under the armrest, remove the screw. Lift up the power windoe control, being careful to not break the plastic retainer tab. Remove the screw under the window control. Starting at the bottom, pull out the panel, and, when all of the clips are loose, pull the panel straight up. It is best to do this with the door panel as warm as possible, like in a heated garage. Doing this outside in the cold will break all of the plastic retainer clips; they are quite brittle whn cold.

I hope this helps

Thanks for choosing FIxYa for assistance. A FIxYa rating (4 blue diamonds) would be greatly appreciated.

Power mirror assembly 1994 camry

You can ask as many questions as you want, Sir. That is what we are here for! No problem!

To answer your question, the connector for the mirror is behind the door panel, and it is difficult to unplug thru the side of the panel. I have already tried that years ago...
You could, if you want to, cut, splice and solder the wires, assuming that they are all of the same color, on both mirrors.

If you want, I can e-mail you a .pdf for the door panel removal procedure, FixYa is not set up to display .pdfs yet. Please advise.

The graciousness of FixYa ratings for this and the previous question would be greatly appreciated!

Procedure for removing door panel on passenger side 1994 camry

Sure.

Pull off the triangle thing.
On the door, at the front edge, there should be 2 plastic caps. Remove them. Under the caps there are screws. Remove them.
On the rear of the door panel, above the latch, are 2 round things, with a smaller round thing in the middle. Press on the inner round thing, and pull the pin assemblys out.
Do you have a light on the door panel at the bottom? If so, pry it out with a small screwdriver (it's just a "press-fit"), and remove the wire connector.
Under the arm-rest, remove the big phillips screw that is hidden, about an inch back from the outer edge of the panel. You will see the hole.
Under the arm rest, remove the tiny plastic trim cover, remove another big phillips screw.
Remove the door handle: Remove the phillips screw. Slide the handle forward or backward to release it from the door metal. Undo the clamp from the lock rod to the handle.
Remove any screws at the very bottom of the panel, if there are any.
Starting at the bottom of the panel. pull straight out, to defeat the plastic clamps tht holds the panel to the door metal. Once the panel is loose, pull it up a bit to remove it from the window opening retainer. Finally, inside the panel, unplug the wiring harness to the window switch assembly.

If you need any more info, please comment back. And, Thanks for the FIxYa.
