Question about 1991 Toyota Camry
My tail lights and also dash lights stopped working at the same time. I checked the fuses under the hood and inside the car next to the steering wheel. I used a test light on all the fuses and found them to be good. I then went too the trunk and unplugged the wire connection put the test light on the plug and got nothing. Please help
In the car trunk, there may be a electrical relay box behind the panel on the left side. It is usually no bigger than 4 inches by 4 inches and yellow in color. This is present in 1987-1991 Toyota Camrys and is generally not in most repair manuals. This yellow electrical relay box may have burnt out. Best place to pick one up at an inexpensive price is at the car wrecking or salvage yard. It is very expensive at the dealer. It is easy to replace with no special tools required. I have done this on my 1991 Camry,

It may be that the connector where the fuse plugs into has expanded beyond where you get a good connection. Try having someone stand outside the car with the lights turned on while you wiggle the fuses one by one. If the flicker on then that is the problem. If that is the problem you will need to soder little peices of sod onto the fuse prongs.
