My 95 s10 2.2 starts fine but once you start to drive it or let it idle it likes to bog a bit and stall on idle. Once the engine is up to running temp it all goes away and runs great.

because the combustion inside the engine is going wrong the quantity of air getting inside is not the needed quantity maybe less than or more in cold will cause such problem once the engine warm up than the engine temperature is up you will not find this problem because the point of firing will be near

My 1988 Chevy s-10 engine runs fine for 1 minute, then sputters until it stops 1 minute later. Why?

first start with your timing. if not th problem you need to check for a vacuum leaks. make sure all hose have no leaks and are connected.check wiring harness connection to distributor, coil, or alternator for being damaged or loose. last is to check if you have a good fuel flow to the engine. It could be the fuel pump or just a bad fuel filter

Sounds to me like your choke is malfunctioning. Take the cover off of your carb when cold and see if the choke (top buttefly valve) is closed. It should be when cold. (you do not say what year truck you have so I am guessing as to the answer)
