SOURCE: 94 cavalier cranks, ignites, then stalls

Most scanners will only give you a code for 1995 and up. But it seems that it could be a Crankshaft Position Sensor.Try disconnecting the negative battery cable and let it sit for a few minutes. then reconnecting it back. if not you can go to Autozone and they will scan your car with a very expensive scanner and give you a code. they usually do it for free. I think it's either the CPS or some other densor such as the MAP, MAF . You can only know if the engine is scanned.

Hi I have Chevy cavalier 1995 it was running OK in the summer now when the cold siesan started when I live it for while or over night it takes me while to start it, what may cos that? thank you.

try by changing the coolant temperature sensor, this may be your problem. Coolant sensor problems will manifest themselves during cold starts and during the warm up period, such as hard starting, erratic idle, smoke, stalling, etc, good-day !

I have a 1999 Chevy Cavalier Z242.4L and it is miss firing i replaced the coil cover and the car stoped miss firing and ran good for a month then it started to do it again so i checked my oil and i was low...

The misfires and the knock are likely two different problems.
Find the darkest place you can and with the engine at idle, open the hood and look along the ignition wiring for and arcing from the cables. GM uses miserable ignition cables and you may be 'bleeding' high voltage from them.
The knock is even more serious; if it is regular in nature, the knock could be caused by either a rod or main crankshaft bearing with heavy wear. That problem should be diagnosed by a pro in person. If you ignore it, it will likely get worse and then finally fail causing severe engine damage.

We changed the head gasket and put everything to gether now it doesn't want to idle right and stall on me in low idle

Vacuum leakage. Check throttle body mounting bolts, and intake manifold for proper seal. The new head gasket leaking could also cause this problem.

My chevy cavalier 2000 has a theft system light on and it wont start

Put key in ignition, turn to on (do not start) position for exactly 10 minutes. As SOON as the light turns off, start car.

This is a problem with most gm vehicles. The vault is the computer.

1999 Chevy Cavalier A/C blows hot air

More likely the recharge blew a o-ring and you have a leak. When your Cavalier was blowing hot air and a recharge fixed it that means it was low on freon which lets o-rings dry out, go back to the shop and have them leak test it. They use a pressurized dye to find the problem. If it's blowing it's not the cooling fan relay, they may have meant compressor relay but I'd have a leak test done first it's not expensive and easier that chasing unknown possibilities.
