Question about 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier
1. Raise the hood 2. Remove the long black plastic piece that extends from the top of one headlight to the top of the other. Pulling out the tops of the plastic pop rivets usinging diagonal cutter pliers to grip them (don't cut them) works well. 3. Remove the headlight assembly by removing the two 13mm shouldered bolts. Lift the headlight assembly out of the way but you don't need to disconnect it. 4. Reach down and turn the bulb socket 1/4 turn counter clockwise and then down to remove. The bulb pulls straight out.
Note: Removing the mud shield in the wheel well doesn't work, as there are intake ducts blocking access to the turn lamp assembly.
