Toyota Corolla 1987 heater not working when I turn on heater fan on it's warm for about 30 sec then goes cold and the guage goes to cold and stays there

Most of the times the heater core gets clogged or corroded. inside the fire wall and the hoses run through the engine compartment and into the firewall. You can try disconnecting the top and bottom hoses and using a garden hose to flush out debris. Flush through top hole first then bottom cycle back and forth to break everything up and water comes out clear. Then hook the hoses back up. Also make sure that your radiator l with coolant at the proper level. The heat typically coming out warm then blowing cold is low coolant or clogged heater core but the gauge on the dash should only symbolize engine temp. If it stays on cold, you may also want to check your thermostat to ensure it functions and opens and closes as it should. All cheap fixes that can be done yourself.

What i need is a 1989 ford ranger 2.3l engine vacuum hose diagram?

Is it a vacuum hose? Find the open hole in the plenum (you should hear a pronounced hissing sound with the engine running). THAT is where the hose goes.

I HAVE EXHAUSTED MY SAVINGS ON TRYING TO FIX MY A/C - CAN SOMEONE IN THE SOUTHEAST MA OR RHODE ISLAND AREA HELP ME

If someone said the freon is leaking out, then you have a leak that needs to be repaired. Every connection in an AC system has a seal. AC systems work under very high pressures. When a seal goes bad, all the freon in the world will not stay in.
They sell kits with all the seals just for this purpose. I'm in AZ, so I can't help you. Plus, I'm working on the AC system in my wife's car right now. What you need is a reputable shop that can do the work for you. The whole system needs to be gone through. It will cost money to get it done correctly. And you should have a professional do it, not some shade tree mechanic. Good luck. I know what east coast summers are like.
Sorry I don't have a better answer.

Air lock cooling system

Not sure I follow your wording on the different temps. If the system is full of coolant and working correctly, the thermostat should open at 195 degrees which would be several miles down the road. Once the thermostat opens both radiator hoses should be warm. If the water pump is not working the engine will get hot very quickly.
Have you tried running without the thermostat to see what happens ?

Headlight wont stay in three days why

Try plugging the ecm into the **** then do as following

1:swivle and insert
2: twist ecm in ****
3: see if u feel a buzz or warm feeling
4: if no buzz u may have a faulty ecm
5: quickly place ecm back and star while your pants are down
(resolution)

You may have a loose ***.. Or maybe the ecm is shot.. My suggestion would be run to a clinic. Then get a dope whip to be all dope n stuff

Where is the orifice tube located??

The Fixed Orifice Tube is located in the high pressure inlet to the AC evaporator core on the firewall, the high pressure side is the side with the small hose from the compressor. Below is a picture of the Evaporator core, note the two holes, the Fixed Orifice Tube goes in the smaller of the two holes.

Coolant leak radiator and hoses good. noticed leak coming from behind eng and dripping down to oil pan. any hoses back there. Chev.2003 6.0

no hoses, but possibly a corroded freeze plug. If so, drain radiator, remove plug with screwdriver and pliers. Take to parts store to get correct replacement. Clean engine hole, coat new plug edge liberally with form a gasket, install using a socket on an extension and a hammer--make sure it goes in square--not cocked. Refill radiator and take a joy ride :-)

How To Replace My Thermostat...HELP!

Termostat is as follow. See clarification. R U changing the sensor?
Follow the top radiator hose over to the engine and where it connects to the thermostat housing. There should be two bolts holding the housing to the motor. Remove the housing and replace the thermostat and gasket. The larger side of the thermo goes in the engine.
