Question about 1994 Cadillac DeVille
I HAVE A 1994 CADILLAC CONCOURS AND NONE OF THE CIGARETTE LIGHTERS WORK. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY TOLD ME IT WAS PROBABLY THE FUSES. I LOOKED IN THE OWNERS MANUAL AND IN THE FUSE DIAGRAM IT DOES NOT INDICATE WHICH FUSE TAKES CARE OF THE LIGHTERS. I JUST CALLED THE CADILLAC 800 NUMBER AND THEY COULD OR WOULD NOT TELL ME AND TOLD ME TO TAKE IT IN TO A DEALER. I CAN DO THIS MYSELF IF I CAN FIND OUT WHICH FUSE TO CHANGE. CAN YOU HELP ME?
You need to replace the "CIGAR" mini-fuse in the min-fuse cluster found in the trunk. There is a diagram on the inside of the fuse-cluster cover but I believe it is the second 20A yellow fuse from the left in the middle row. Fuse replacing tool and extra fuses should be found in a compartment on the inside of your glove compartment door. Word.
