Healdights go on and off when driving on the road.
The headlights go off and then on again when I am driving on the road at night.
The setting is on manual and NOT on automatic "on and off". The car is a 2002 S Type SE Jaguar. They are only off for a couple of seconds and I have checked for loose wires etc, and cannot find any. The side lights remain on. Could this be a loose fuse causing the problem?

Re: Healdights go on and off when driving on the road.
You may have a problem with the lights control switch, I had a similar problem with lack of control and the switch was replaced = all okay.
Does the light switch feel 'definite' when moved from one position to another?

find the screws that lift and lower and move side to side . you may need a small socket. and at night on a dark night and road , take your jacket or a heavy towel put it over one sides headlight and adjust the one not coverd. its so kool you can get your headlights just perfect. i have done it on every car i have had sept for my vette... remember to set the drivers a little to the right so you don't blind on coming drivers
Do this type of headlight appear on the certificate of homoglonation for your vehicle ,if not then do not fit because you could be prosecuted, also vehicle will not pass its annual vehicle inspection because the lights are not on the vehicle build certificate
I know that Saturn is made by GM. I own an '02 Blazer, and I have to bypass the automatic headlights by either setting the e-brake, or by pushing my "Dome Override" button 4 times. Given the fact that your vehicle is a few years newer and a Saturn rather than a Chevrolet, chances are that the process to disable this feature (or annoyance rather...lol) is probably different. Try scrolling through your users manual and looking for a section labeled "Daytime Driving Lamps" or "Automatic Head Lamps". Some vehicles, such as Impala's and Malibu's as well as some of the Buick's will not allow you to disable this feature. However, if it CAN be disabled, it will be described somewhere in the manual. Hope this solves you problem and keeps you from having to get any more jumpstarts. Have a great day!
