Mazda Famillia intermittant carburetta problem

I have an old Mazda Famillia maybe 92 / 93 auto. When I use light acceleration it doesn't really want to respond and can leave me struggling to get across junctions. If I put my foot down it eventually responds and races off. I think it is a carb problem, jumping around a bit. In neutral it responds normally. The problem only seems to occur when the vehicle is moving. Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Mazda 121 98 1.3i lag problem on accelerating like misfire sometimes but changed leads and plugs

Check fuel pressure with cheap gauge available at auto parts store. Clogged fuel filter, or failing electric fuel pump, may likely be the cause. If the engine is really high mileage, there may be other factors.

What is causing my 2005 Mazda 6 sport wagon to run jerky and not accelerate smoothly.

If it started only 3 days ago, go to your auto parts store and the next time you fill up, add a can of Sea Foam. If there is a gas station near you which sells gasahol-free gas, fill it up with that, then take it out on the interstate and kick it into passing gear several times (I hope you don't get a speeding ticket).

Mazda bh famillia water leaking at back of engine near oil filter, do you know what this could be?

You need to locate the leak. It could be a simple hose or as bad as a cracked head/head gasket.

Experienced a similar problem some time ago on a Vauxhall. Only happened under acceleration. It turned out to be a split in the air inlet hose from the airflow meter. Carefully check the hose and replace if damaged.

The problem is more then likely a bad connection on your spark plug fireing electronics. It is temp. Related also make sure ALL your fuse's are the correct size in their correct slot. Plan B solution start with your cheapest sencers first replaceing them

Under steady acceleration, engine light goes on

Being a 95 it dosent have OBD2 so it may not store a trouble code in the computer.
From the symptoms it sounds like either, Air flow sensor, O2 sensor
The O2 will not usually cause stalling under acceleration.
