Question about 2000 Chevrolet Malibu
Put new switch and keys in ,reset everything in the proper order and now theft system will let it start and run for 5 seconds dies wait for theft light to go out and does the samething.HELP
Try this: turn key on, crank starter for 1 second, leave key on for 10 minutes. after 10 min. shut key off and repeat 3 times. (on second try, crank a sec. or so longer, the reprogram may take off right away. if not, repeat make sure battery is strong, key could be on for 1/2 hr. sometimes engaging emergency brake before key is turned on prevent daytime running lites to come on to save battery power (if equipped). been through it, thought i'd mention it
