Question about 2003 Toyota Matrix
After my daughter plugged in her ipod to the cigatette lighter outlet, it no longer functions plus the radio/cd unit no longer functions.
Power remains for the CD expel/receive mode. Also the clock time appears if the far lower right button is pushed. Clock time also appears if the clock buttons, located far left bottom, are pushed.
We kept thinking a fuse but there is still some power. We can't find the fuse location for the radio and lighter.
There are 2 fuses that powers the radio, cigar lighter, etc.
They are: the 10 amp "GAUGE" and the 15 amp "CIG".
Look under the dash, on the driver side. The "CIG" fuse is the one that you need to replace.
It is in the middle of the fusebox, bottom row. again, a 15 amp fuse.
Please advise if you need additional information.
Hope this helps, and Thanks for choosing FixYa.
