I was told it was a vaccuum hose lose somewhere also, but where they are located on my car is the problem so that I can check them out. Do you know where the vaccuum hoses are located on a 1994 chevrolet caprice classic 4 door 8 cylinder automatic?

Check the flasher, a plug in type relay under the dash.Find it and turn signal on while you are holding it and you will be able to tell which relay or flasher is bad.It may also be located under the hood.

You may have a disconnected or broken vacuum line. With the engine running, open the hood and try to locate the noise.

1988 Suzuki Samurai Hissing Sound Under Hood

hi its definatley an air leak if you have replaced the hoses i suggust the next thing you try is see by tighting the carburrettors nuts that hold it to the manifold as these come lose and **** air do the same with the manifold bolts i suspect you will find them loose if not then change the gaskets one at a time with the cheapest first the carburretors then the manifold you may want to go to your car shop and ask for an air leak spray or they may use some other kind of method but basicly you spray it round the carb/manifold and watch to see where the leak is yates210456
