? belt I have a 2002 p t cruiser and yesterday heard something rubbing under neath ,looked saw nothing ,but my reserve coolent was empty, however it has not run hot. What i need to know is,is there a belt or something that could have made this sound.we can see a pully down on the lower left side that has nothing on it.and there is some liquid that smells like anti freeze on this sde. Please help me as i am a 66 year old and not alot of money to work with.I just had my oil changed at the dealer and was told all was good, except for a slight wear on the serpintine belat, but nothing to be concerned, and they would see me my next oil change in 2000 miles.

If they checked it for you, do not be too concerned. Maybe it has nothing to do with the engine. refill the coolant level full and listen . If it keeps doing it have somebody else look at it.

My pt cruiser has a bumping noise coming from under the hood when in park or sitting still

Get it on a lift and check the engine mounts, exhaust and then under the hood for loose trunking etc. Look for shiny marks on hoses etc to denote rubbing on something.

I heard a ticking sound coming from the rear wheel area on my 1995 Lexus ES300. Is this a serious problem?

It could be! I would look under the car to see if something got caught, or if something is rubbing. If nothing, go to have it put on a hoist and inspected. It might be noise from the brakes that your brake padsneed replacing. Good luck!

i had the same problem as well. you have to change a lillte part, plastic part that looks like an " L " that connects two metal tubes. they are located be the alternator, and serpentite belt. the belt comes off and the reserved water radiator also so you can have more space to work on. the part will cost you maybe $8. I hope this tip will help you!

My pt cruiser is 2001 has done 92000 klm wnen do i do a timing belt change

I would recommend replacing the timing belt and 60,000 miles and most definitely at 90,000, you most definitely won't hurt anything to go ahead and replace it now.
