Hell oi have a 1989 toyota truck

Hi my truck has a valve noise and i did a compression test and 1 is at 130 2 is at 90 3 136 4 is at 145 is that any thing to do with head problems like burnt valve driveing it in 1 gear is fine 2 gear and 3 gear is feels like if its missin 4and 5 its fine wont pass smog cause acceleration problem they say

You have a definite valve issue with cylinder 2, You will have to remove valve cover to diagnose further.

In the meantime, I'd say that your compression test DID help as it eliminated potentially compression related problems like cracked valves or bad head gasket.

My 84 toyota truck engine 22r has a valve knock. when i start my truck i hear a loud knock coming from the i need to adjust the valves?

check the valve adjust and see if one valve is lower/higher than the rest. The valves are hydraulically adjusted and if the knock is really loud watch for a slight miss at rpm's. The only thing that will give a loud noise is a loose valve seat insert. You may pick it up with a compression test.

yes thanks to ford [fix or repair daily ] the valves have had a knock ,could be connecting rod shortend by impact ? but sadly i would say valves ,easy repair get a compression test first thow .

If your not leaking externally your problem could be internal.Its quite possible your oil is going out your exhaust.I recommend you do a wet dry test on your cylinders.This test tells you whether or not you have an internal problem.What your going to do is perform a compression test on the cylinders and record the compression in each cylinder.This is the dry test.Now you want to squirt a little oil in the cylinder and do another compression test.If there is any variation in the readings from dry to wet then I would look for an internal problem such as valve guide seal,rings or valves.As far as the starter and ignition problem it could be a bad starter and ignition switch.You should take your starter to your local auto parts store and have the starter tested this is usually done for free.Also be sure you check your neutral safety switch for proper operation.

Turns over really fast will not catch n start.... not firing almost acts like its gonna air popping

The timing belt has jumped a tooth, you must d a compression test, then get a repair manual to check if the mechanical timing is of indicating a jumped tooth on the timing belt.

The compressions you mentioned...Good?
No. Not at all.
Those compression reading indicate either really bad/worn piston rings, or valves that are not sealing properly, or both.
Normal compression readings should be at or above 140 PSI, +/5 5 PSI difference, no more.Save your money, and look for another unit. This engine is going to cost you a lot of money to make it right.

1989 Isuzu I-Mark won't crank over.

The winding noise sounds like it may be that the engine has lost compression. A compression test on all cylinders will determine this. The pressure should be approximately 100 lbs +/- 10% in all cylinders.
