Question about 2006 BMW 750Li

BMW 735i 1989 battled to start for a while now no spark and fuel

Over a period the cars starting got more difficult, then one day the motor cranked and cranked and when I started scratching noticed there is no spark and the fuel pump does not come on. Is there a relay controling these functions or the ecu stuffed. Hell I hope it is not the electronics.

For crank i think your alignment has been compromised and if your car is not in starting condition then you need to tow to experienced BMW service provider for realignment.

Car will always turn over, but will not start on certain days. At first i thought it could be due to dampness and faulty wireing. When it does start it runs smooth. The other day it started in the rain....

next ime you dont start there should be a fuel tester shrader valve just like the tire shrader valve crank it and if it doesnt start check the fuel shrader valve see how much fuel comes out and if it dribbles you need a fuel pump and filter. also the 1989 are populat for intermittent due to the ICM recieving low signals, and the theory back then was what went out first spark or fuel. ICM and cam sensor and crank sensor was just replaced, Now that was the fuel injected part, 1989 there was still carburator that was being made at that time and the popular breakdown was fuel filter getting plugged.

1989 Jeep Wrangler Standard wont start

You have to check if this is fuel or spark related. You HAVE to put a filter in the system or the fuel injectors will get clogged. Check for spark first. If you have a good spark at the plugs, then your problem may be fuel related. If uou don't have any spark, then the problem could be a bad crank sensor.
