Question about 2002 Ford E350

Open Question

2002 Ford E350 Cutaway Van/Box Truck has leak between cab and box

How difficult is it to separate the box(one inch or less)from the cab? It appears that the previous owner made feeble attempts to repair it by gooping caulk on exterior and interior. The leak is coming from the top in several locations. I would like to do it right the first time. The truck was a Budget Rentals fleet truck. It has a 16ft.box,dual wheel, single rear axle. Any help will be appreciated.Thank you.

SOURCE: Right rear axle leaking gear oil

If it is the seal on the bearing, its not easy it is very time consuming, but this can also be the veiw if you have a brake cyl leak which can be caused by the brakes being exessevely worn in the rear end. I would take it to a shop and have them check it out,

SOURCE: i'm trying to change door locks on my 1998 ford

before taking the panels off -- check on the side of the door and see if there is a pull clip there,, it will just look like a tab,, it is inline with the lock cylinder itself but on the side of the door,, pull this tab out and this is the lock retainer clip ( you might need to use a large flat blade screwdriver to kinda pry it out -- but it will come out.
if it is not there - then to remove the window crank what you need to do is push in on the panel just around the crank itself,, look at the base of the plastic crank and you should see a small metal wire clip,, it is a 'C' shaped clip -- use a small flat blade screwdriver to carefully pry the clip up and out ( it will only go one way ) -- be careful as these clips like to go flying off into nowhere land.
as soon as the crank is off -- just lift up on the panel to get it to remove from the door skin and out of the window track.
now when putting the crank back on -- just put the clip in place on the crank and push the handle in on the spindle --- it will self clip itself back on.
if you are still having troubles - please feel free to write me back here and I will walk you through the best I can.

SOURCE: 1994 ford E350 box truck. Need to know how to

you always start from the furthest line from the master, so start with the rear passenger, rear driver, front passenger then finally the front driver. be sure to put ne clean fluid in the master cylinder as you bleed off each line. the first thing you should do is remove all the old fluid from the resivour and add clean so you will be pulling fresh fluid through the line. you only stop bleeding the fluid out when you see clean fluid comming out. then you move on to the next one and repaes the steps.

I want to see how much front spring sag on a 1994 Chevy C-1500 Std. Cab. 4.3 engine I can't find factory sepcs.

The short wheelbase C1500 is 194.1 inches long, 76.4 inches wide (plus one-half inch for Sportsides/Widesides) and 70.4 inches tall. The long wheelbase adds 18.8 inches of length for a total of 212.9. The K1500 measures the same but rides a little higher at 73.8 inches, or 74.3 inches for the heavy-duty diesel. The C2500 has a height of 73 inches, while the K2500's height is 74.3 inches and the K3500 is 76 inches tall. Length and width figures for the 2500 and 3500 regular cabs are similar to the 1500 series at 212.9 inches and 76.4 inches, respectively. The extended cab with standard box measures 236.9 inches long. The K3500 extended cab with long box measures 255.7 inches.

2001 ford ranger fuse box identify

Hi Jose:
Accordting with the 2001 Ford Ranger Owners Manual, you have several fuse locations...

Passenger compartment fuse panel: The fuse panel is located on the left hand side of the instrument panel facing the drivers side door.

Power distribution box: the power distribution box is located in the engine compartment. The power distribution box contains high current fuses that protect your vehicles main electrical systems from overloads.

If you need details about each fuse description, I suggest to look the right Owners Manual.

Hope this helps and feel free to contact us in the previous links; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and will appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Air filter replacement. A plastic box attached to the inside front is marked as having an air filter. The plastic box, when unscrewed and w/two lg. hoses disconnected, appears sealed w/no way to open it....

The previous owner is an idiot. The air filter may be BELOW the box you are refering to. That hose is the crankcase vent and if thats not connected the engine will pull dirt in through that hose. The box has clips to secure the 2 halves of the box. get a new hose. I would not have bought the van if I saw that hose missing.

Which fuse box? there are three: The Battery Junction Block (BJB), the Central Junction Block (CJB) and the Bi-Fuel Relay Module.

Please review this article: Where's The Fuse?

Also, the information that you are probably trying to find is covered in the Owner's Manual for your vehicle. (Look under the heading of "Roadside Emergencies")
If you don't have an owner"s manual, you can download a FREE .pdf version at the Ford web site. I have provided a direct link below. You can save this file to your computer for future reference.

Where is the fuse for the accesories plug beside the lighter

These are called power points in Ford terms
Front one is in the BJB ( aka Battery Junction Box, Engine Compartment fuse panel ), Fuse #1.
Rear ( if SuperCrew cab ) is BJB ( aka Battery Junction Box, Engine Compartment fuse panel ) Fuse # 12. These are separate from the cigar lighter.

If you did not get an owners manual with your truck ( purchased used ), you can download one from Ford :

Shifting gears on my S2000 is very sticky almost difficult when I first start the car and gets better only after driving for a while...is this normal?

If this is a used car that you recently purchased - the previous owner may have put a thicker lube in the gear box. It would then require a little time to warm up and thin. This could have been done accidentally or on purpose, with the intention to hide a needed repair.
