I have a concorde. Let me tell you its not easy to work on. The alternator is located just below the power steering pump. The power steering pump is attached to the power steering reservoir. To gain access you have to remove the metal plate that has the washer fluid bolted to it. It has alot of bolts. Then remove the radiator fans so you have more room to work. The engine has two belts. Once you get the belts off the alternator is attached by a metal plate just below the power steering pump. Once its loose remove it from under the car. Hope this helped.
its sorta hard but it can be done me and my brother did it the water pump is on the bottom of the pulleys the tentioner pulley is the very back one next to the power steering if your car has power steering
their are 2 3 or 4 bolts on the pulley i think its just 3 there are 4 or 5 bolts on the pump and you slide it on out and put the new gasket on it and then put the new one on. its hard its take some time but it can be done
THis unit uses an electric motor for the Power Steering
It is located under the dash on the steering column. Remove the two bolts and unplug the wires...
You will have to remove the trime under the Steering column and the panel left end of the dash. Cost of the motor is $169.00 from the Saturn Dealership.
you have a belt for the power steering, check to see if belt broke and fell off ,if belt is still on, check fluid in power steering , pump might have gone out also, if full of fluid and belt is on, pump or rack is gone, hope this helped, thanks robert b.
