Mervia. Why is central locking not locking any door?

It's only an educated guess. If all other locks switches are working it' either the switch panel itself or an electrical short. Switches are popular, get it checked first

The drivers door does not unlock when using the fob key also it seems to double lock and also the boot does not lock what could this be

Does it work when you use the switch inside on the drivers door. Lock and unlock? If it does not then there is a problem with the electric lock motor inside the door. It will have to be changed. If the lock works with the switch inside the door, you have a problem with the remote actuator system that powers the drivers door lock. I hope this helps

My Prius will not lock with remote control. Locks apply and reopen immediately in my prius

Check for one of the door-open switches to be misadjusted. If the door ajar lamp is lit, the remote locking system will not work. Also check that a second key-fob is not inside the car. The smart locking system will not allow you to accidentally lock the key fob inside the car and will cycle the lock back to the unlocked position immediately if the fob is sensed by the inside-the-car sensor(s).

Sorry my car was not listed so picked Altima 2003 Micra Intelligent key fob not working properly. Can drive the car but cannot open or lock the doors. Did get fob wet. Now dried out. Worked for first few...

You are going to need to check the power lock control moduel on the inside of the door panel. If the FOB appears to be working but the doors are not unlocking, you need to check this. I would also replace all fuses that control the locks. If both of these devices check out ok, you may need to replace your FOB. To check your power lock control moduel, manually lock and unlock your doors by pressing the lock button on the inside of the door. If it does not work, it is either the fuses or the power lock control moduel. If it works, your FOB has gone bad. Hope this helps! Please rate 4 thumbs up!

It sounds like there is a problem with :
1) One of the Door Ajar Switches
OR
2) The CTM (Central Timer Module)

1):
If one of the Door Ajar Switches is engaged, the Door Locks will not Lock, (but) there should be some indication of noise or action when the Switch is used.

2): CTM
The Door Lock Module is part of the CTM. The Remotes, Door Switch & VSS passes thru the CTM.
Verification of the CTM will need a Dealer DRB Scan Tool to acess & check system.
Check Fuses 11 & 5 (inside cab) for power on both sides of fuse.
Check Fuses 12 & 3 (under hood) for power on both sides of fuse.

If fuses are good, the best thing to do would be to have the DRB Scan Tool connected & check system

The rear door lock actuator comes as part of the rear door latch. You will have to remove the ddor panel, disconnect the door lock rods and then remove the latch. spacer.gif 2008-06-28_222600_new_folder.thumb.gif spacer.gif

2004 Civic Drivers door lock

The driver's side door lock button is designed not to lock from the inside unless the handle is pulled, or the power switch is used. This serves as a reminder to not lock your keys inside.

If you are inside, and push down on the button (not the switch) hard enough to lock it, you've probably damaged it.
