Question about 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee
I have a 99 jeep grand cherokee with a 01 motor and and can drive it for about 15 min and it cuts off but putt putts like its hard to get gas. once it cuts off it turns over but won't catch and start on up. are u able to give me any inclination as to what this may be.
It could very well be the MAP sensor. I believe it is on the fire wall of the '99s . unplug it and see if thet doesn't help. If it does, then replace the sensor. (MAP sensor will have a vacuume hose and a small plug in attached).
The mass airflow meter could be the culprit as well.
Are you getting any codes?
