There could be several issues here.. I have had the same problem, I fixed it by replacing the MAP and the MAF sensors. I first replaces the Manifold Air Pressure sensor this seemed to work for a while. However the issue came back and after looking further on the web, and chiltons manual, I found out about the Mass Air Flow sensor. Once it was replaced all was good.

Coooling fans don't come on 2001 Chevy Impala 3.4 liter The two 25 amp fuses are good


There are two fuse blocks under the hood on passenger side/with cooling fan relays #1 #2 #3 this maybe the problem.One may be faulty

I changed the BCM on my 2001 Chev Impala. Now my car radio says "LOC"

The car is a 2001 chev impala. At times the security light comes on for the ignition cut off with no ignition start up problems. Then with no warning the car will not start. Which means I have to reset it...


i had to have my 01 impalas ignition switch/module (bcm) replaced my car did the same thing..the security is going bad..it thinks the car is being stolen

Which fuse box has blower motor fuse on 2001 chev impala


There is a blower motor resistor located up under the passenger side dash. I believe there is actually 3 fuses that can cause problems with the blower....relays/fuses should be located in the engine compartment fuse block. They are High Blower fuse-HVAC fuse-Radio/HVAC/RFA/Cluster/etc...fuse. Hope this helps.
