OEM engine block part number for cherokee ltd 1994

Dear Sir,

Could you help me, I have bought a cherokee lmtd 4.0L 1994. I have fisicaly checked the engine Block P/N MZK 665935. I tried to register to administration in my town but they said have problem with engine block P/N that they said should be M2K first, follow by number..
My question, what is the correct OEM P/N for engine block jeep cherokee limited 4.0L 1994? and do you know what kind of P/N that start with MZK....
Kindly adivice please?
Thanks and regards,
Dedi

Hello Dedi, I'm not sure I understand this correctly, but is it not possible that the 'Z' and the '2' look similar, so that is the problem? If the administration says it should be MZK, can't you put that on the documents? (even if they are not correct about the 'Z'). This seems to be the easiest way to register your vehicle. If you want, I will try to research further, but this seems the easiest way to make the administration happy!

You are saying the injectors are allowing too much fuel into the cylinders. Or not enough air from the air filter.
Is the check engine light on, and have you checked the fuel pressure regulator ?

I have a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo that has a strange intermittent problem. Sometimes it runs fine, but sometimes the tachometer goes ape wild not giving a proper reading of engine RPM. When this...

Regarding your shifting problems: I replaced the output shaft speed sensor and fixed a 97 GC V8 Ltd that would not shift out of low gear - this is externally mounted on/near the outside of the tail shaft. I replaced a throttle position sensor (mounted on throttle body - a likely culprit) on an 87 Wag Ltd 4.0 and that fixed shifting problems similar to those you have described. Each of these parts is in the $25 price range - worth a try if you haven't ruled them out.

My jeep 1999 Jeep cherokee 4.7l ltd will not crank. The check gages light came on. Jump staring will not help. I bought a new battery problem not solved. please help!

If the engine will not turn over,if the starter does not turn the engine, then tap on the starter with a hammer, lightly, while trying to start it,if it starts, the starter is bad.

Is there a fuse for the heater on a 2002 jeep grand cherokee ltd?

Check the fuse, in the block near the battery in the engine compartment. If that's not the problem it is likely the HVAC controls, the thing in the dash with the swtiches on it.

Engine block P/N

last one i imported through spanish system where the paperwork is more important than the vehicle it was m2k if my memory serves me well as i seem to remember they spent ages in the vehicle inspection centre rubbing it with a bit of paper, then failed vehicle because they couldnt read it .so i took it home and restamped the number and then took it to another test centre who then failed it because the indicators and stop lights worked from a one filament bulb and here its yellow for indicators with a separate light lens
