Question about 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee
I have a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee and when I start the car it squeels like belt needs to be replaced until the voltage on the battery gets to 50%, its def something witht he battery but I dont knwo what, will anew battery solve this? Thanks!
Kinda Sounds more like an alternator problem. I would take your Cherokee to Autozone (or anywhere that will check your battery for free) and make sure that its a battery problem. Also you may want to look at your alternator as well (which if you take into autozone they will check for free as well). Maybe belt is slipping around your alternator drive which in turn is not charging your battery. I would try out the free stuff and go from there. :)
