My 2001 CRV will unlock itself over and over on its own. It will "double-beep" indicating that it's unlocked continuously. The only way I've found to stop this is by starting it and moving it to another parking spot.

If you pushed the car by the door itself or swung the door open hard, you could ha e stretched the door harness and pulled wires apart. There is a little accordian styled boot that 'protects, the wire loom leading to the driver door electronics. I wonder if you have noticed your alarm horn doesnt beep when locking the doors from the remote. Or you can only lock and unlock the driver door only from the driver door. If thats the case there may be an open in the wires leading to the door lock actuator; which controls things like lock/unlock functions of all doors and windows, door warning lights, etc. Have the harness repaired
If it honks once, it is because the alarm was reset. The alarm can be reset by not starting the car within the time allowed (you have about one minute from unlocking the car to starting the car or it re-enables the alarm). It typically does a short beep to indicate that the alarm is re-enabled. If you hear that mini-beep, just press the Unlock button on your remote. Your car will not honk when starting.
My guess is that the designers thought... if the driver unlocks the car and opens the door but doesn't start the car and instead leaves the car unlocked... that it will notify the driver that someone is trying to steal the car. Unlikely. It just makes me frustrated when I hear it.

I recently picked up an 2001 Audi and the dealer told me that this is one of the most common questions. You have to double press the unlock button of your keyless entry pad to unlock all doors including the fuel access door. Perhaps you are checking the fuel access door while all doors are unlocked?
this is the factory alarm indicator light. try locking the doors while your in the car and wait a few minutes. Unlock the door and open it and the horn should start to beep. Put your key in the driver's door and turn twice to unlock all the doors and stop the alarm.
