1992 accord running hot

I just replaced the thermastat but after a couple weeks it started to do the same thing. Running hot 3/4 way, but when I accelerate the temperature comes down to 1/2 way and when I stop it rises back up?

Check the cooling fan switch and the temperature control switch, they should be turning your fan on when the engine temp begins to rise (as when u stop and gauge starts to climb).

If the battery was dead/charged/replaced the vehicle may have to go through an idle relearn procedure. Get it running and try to keep it running by feathering gas pedal until it reaches operating temp. Ideally you want to be able to take it for a drive for the Honda PGM system to relearn

1992 subaru legacy 2.2 liter overheating and no heat. already replaced waterpump, thermastat, radiator and hoses

You mean the car is running fine but just No Heat?
If so
-Sound like the heater hoses are plug. or the control valve is no function

-Check the heater control valve and flush the heater unit with water of garden hose from both directions.
Q: How do I know that is working or not?
A: Slide the heater control from Hot to cold or cold to hot and check it turn or not. (If not turn at all. The cable is broken or slip off)

Oil is getting n my radiator it is a cream color & thick like a gravy, my truck hasnt been running hot until a few weeks ago due 2 it getting so thick and wont rotate, everyone says its a cracked

Sounds like you either have a cracked cylinder head, or more likely, a blown head gasket. Get the gasket changed, and have the head inspected and tested while it's off.

Factory Diagnostic chart that the car mechanics use

couple other things check for a oily substance in the coolant if there it could be a possible blown head gasket,,, also check your fans to see if they are working

1992 Honda Accord won't start when hot- main rely?

the relay that you are speaking of would be my primary suspicion. it is called a main relay, they typically run about $50 - $80. these are common for the contacts wearing out and becoming inopperable when hot, and not allowing the fuel pump to power up. good luck!

Driving on interstate and car started running hot. Heater was working and blowing hot air. Had steam coming from under hood. Top Radiator hose was hot but bottom hose was cool. Could it be a blown heater...

it seems as if there is a clog in the radiator, flush out coolant system and see if this helps.usually when top hose is hot and bottom hose is cold there is a clog somewhere in system. check radiator and make sure coolant is circulating. hope this helps carl,

Nissan sentra n16 temp. overheating

If all of the things you replaced are working fine I am going to say double check the thermostat. Also make sure your fan is engaging at temp. You cam check by running till warm and then running the AC. If the car does not overheat with the AC on then your fan is not running under normal conditions (with AC off) This can be caused by a couple of different things depending on how the fan is set up. I am not a nissan expert
