Re: the rear of my car is low, seems like the air susp....
Have it tested for a leak. Do not run the compressor if you do not have to. You will burn out the compressor. Sysytem will have to be pumped with air to pin-point leak

If you are replaceing both sides (drivers & passangers (recomended)) you will need 4 bushes in total 2 front susp rear & 2 front susp front. There is 2 bushes both sides (front of front & rear of front) The lower control arms go from the chassis to the lower ball joints (just behind tyres at bottom) will be a big job!
The cause of your concern could be a faulty Air Susp. Fuse, Rear Susp. air Spring, Air Lines, Air Control Valves or Open/short circuit.
I Suggest you to check the following if you want to check it by your self first;
Check the Fuse located at rear side of truck.
Check both rear the Air Srings for possible cracks especially at lower portion of rubber (folding area)
Using water with soap, check rear both air lines and springs for possible air leak.if possible check it in different hight level. Replace both air springs if found evident of air leak.
Swap Rear and Front Hight level sensor if possible. If the problem transfer to front then replace Sensor.
Check Air control Valve fro possible stuck up, knock it several times gently and observe. If doesn't make change, check power suppy with voltmeter. If you couldn't find the problem then Bring it to BMW Service Center.
sensor could be bad, telling the unit that it was too low so the comp just kept pumping it up??I think there are solenoids at each bag? really cant remember. isnt there a switch in the rear compartment to turn the susp off.
Hopefully just needs to be reset, those air susp r expensive. Some susp come with a switch to turn on and off could be on the left or right rear back look for it turn off then on if that does not work, disconnect p bat terminal for 5 min then reconnect. Listen for suspension should make some noise.
is your suppension light on in the dash?
can you hear your pump run?
