I have a 92 silverado with a similar problem but I have no power at all. I checked the fuses they are all good, I also checked my ground wires and they seem to be good. I bought a new heater unit replaced it and it worked for about two minutes and shut down. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you have a short somewhere in the system thats affecting your ignition also, but not serious enough to blow fuses, best bet is to get out your multimeter and start checking for a short somewhere.

If you think you have trouble codes go to any autozone, or schucks. they will let you use their code reader for free in the parking lot

1994 Chevy engine miss.

You may have a possible vacuum leak at the intake. Another cause would be carbon build up at the valve seat.
