Have you checked the trans fluid? Has to be checked with engine running in neutral. If its good you will need to bring it to a transmission shop. Good luckHowie

Do you mean that your Jeep turns OK to the right, but is hard to turn when you try to turn left? If this is what you mean, then you most likely have an internal hydraulic leak in your steering gear.
this is a bad shift control module it is part of the shifter it is about 700 in parts these are only available from a dealership get back with me if you want to try to change it your self it is hard to do.
I would check the transmission fluid level and color, should be a nice clear red color. You may need to have the filter replaced. Possibly some internal transmission problem also.
