2001 DODGE STRATUS
On dodge/chrysler products, when you replace the battery and start the engine, you have to manually hold the idle up with gas pedal for a few minutes so the computer can relearn. it will eventually idle.

first you want to make sure your engine is not seized, do this byy taking a wrench and turning the engine manually with the crank shaft, thats the one all the ay on the bottom, if it does not move your engine seized.
if it is not seized, check all of your battery cables to make sure they are not corroded or greasy, as an extra measure you may want to clean the neg cable at the block to make sure it is getting connection.
