Check when it was last tuned, sound like it needs spark plugs, plug wires and fuel filter.

1973 suzuki vitra 1.6 16 valve car starts fine but has a miss fire on number two cylinder. any advise wellcome

If i were you I would start by changing all 4 spark plugs and get a new set of plug wires. This will most likely solve your problem. Hope this helps!

Does the 09 es350 need 93 octane gas or will it run on 87 octane

you should have a factory affixed sticker inside gas compartment cover listing premium fuel only or also listed in your owners manual. Otherwise if you notice that you're vehicle is making a pinging sound while accelerating or climbing a hill for instance then you may want to step up to 89 or 93 octane and try to avoid purchasing fuel with ethanol added it's **** and degrades your fuel quality/octane ratio

Engine seems to be missing

it sounds right, it is called a light load miss. it occurs mostly at 45-50 mph on slight incline and it feels like a bucking or hesitation. It commonly ocurs when there is carbon tracking on a spark plug porcelin (sp) . note . if the porcelin has carbon tracking so does the plug wire boot. the spark will travel through the carbon track in teh boot after plug replacement causing premature failure of the plug. it is a good idea to replace plugs and wires if this is the cause of your miss.
