Question about 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee
My 1996 grand cherokee has difficulty taking sharp turns, what are some suggestions for a remedy. Suspect something wrong with all wheel drive system
The viscous couplers in these are known to fail. Shop around for repair as the cost can very significantly. Perhaps shop online for the part IF you can someone that will install it (many shops frown on customers supplying the part). If you have a (non-dealer) Jeep specialist in your area this might be your greatest chance to save.
If the repair is something you want to tackle yourself, search the web for 'jeep viscous coupler replacement' or similar and you should be able to find instructions with pictures (better than a service manual if done correctly).
