Squeaking CV Axle bearings... Bad CV axles are expected to click but they can also on rare occasions squeak... I know because I had that experience with a 1984 Sentra when doing a U or close turn only. Other parts that could theorically squeak at low speed, and depending on the condition and brake pad material.. would be warped disks or glazed brake pads... but at low turning speed, the CV Axle is more likely.

Ok, so I have a '95 Silverado k1500 with 350 tbi.

Have you ever cleaned the accumulated sludge out of the throttle body and idle speed control air bypass valve? It is the leading source of problems like this. Follow the instructions below to clean it.

Buy a can of throttle valve cleaner (it is made by CRC) from the local auto parts store, NEVER USE CARB CLEANING SPRAY, IT DESTROYS THE ANTI-STICK TEFLON COATING, spray it into the air intake through the throttle body of the engine until you have used about half the can, you will need to hold the idle up while you do this, it will try to stall, after this shut the engine down and disconnect the Negative (-) battery cable for 5 minutes. The intake is now clean, if you continue to have the idle speed control problems you may need to seek the help of a professional. Please rate my help for Fixya. Thanks

It sounds like you need to replace it or you can get your power steering pump flushed out and give that a try. As for the rubbing noise I need more info. What are you doing to make it do that noise? Do you know where in the front?

Sounds to me that you have an issue with the vacuum. you need to check all lines, make sure none of them are cracked. sensors in the coolant system can get 'gummy', when this occurs the computer will think it is either running colder or hotter than it really is, so maybe have the system flushed. a good way to tell it is a vacuum leak is if when you are cold idle and it is very fast,
