Question about 2002 Nissan Xterra
Can the bulb on a xenon headlamp be removed without removing entire headlamp unit??
If yes please explain as it's not obvious and I don't wish to damage the unit.
The Xterra doesn't have stock xenon headlights, so are your lights aftermarket? If not, there is a retaining ring on the back of the headlight housing (under the hood) and you just turn the ring counter clockwise to detach and the the bulb comes right out. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Tips for a great answer:
The headlamp is a semi-sealed beam type which uses a replaceable halogen bulb. The bulb can be replaced from the engine compartment side without removing the headlamp body.
Disconnect the harness connector from the back side of the bulb
