My 1996 GMC jimmy wants to stall when I come to a stop. The RPM gage goes up & down then drops below 1000 RPMS and stalls.

I would go down to your local auto parts store and do an alternator and battery test. It sounds like at low rpms you are loosing volts. When you apply the brakes you would be supprised how much power from the engine it takes. You could also be loosing oil pressure. Check your oil level. When your engine drops low rpm, the oil pressure drops and shuts down the engine.

MY ANTYLOCK IS REAL SINSITIVE AT LOW SPEED

What is the problem? Too sensitive? What speed does it occur? First apply? Every apply? Wet roads?

Cheap tires, cheap brakes, wrong tire size (not calibrated), contaminated brakes, faulty wheel speed sensor.

Most common problem is cheap rear brake pads.

Just replaced calipers and pads on 2002 1500 Silverado LS/HD. Rear brakes make "rubbing" noise when driving; the noise immediately stops when I apply the brake. What's the rub? I've applied lube in all...

if your pads are new, it could be the one making the noise! in time it will go off, pads is still fitting itself to the worn part of the metal plate/shim!
