SOURCE: the cigarette lighter in my fiat punto 1.2 dont

use a test light or pull them to ensure they are not blown otherwise replace them if you are trying to use the cigarette lighter itself they do burn out a few dollars for a new one but yes check the fuses themselves

SOURCE: Fiat Punto indicators

you need to change the flasher unit .... also check fuse # 24 on the fuse panel inside the vehicle. the flasher unit should be just under the dash on the steering wheel side... i have alot of information on that vehicle but i couldn't find where exactly the flasher unit is located.

SOURCE: how do i replace the fuse on a fiat punto

look inside the car pull the fuse box cover off, it has a diagram on the embossed into the plastic there will be a picture of a windscreen wiper moving, check the line and position relative to the location on the fuse box. most times it by the drivers right leg just under the steering wheel looks like a plastic cover sometimes they have screws but this model should just pull off. check your user manual for the location of the fuse box if you have one.

Fiat punto 1.2i after starting the car and driving when i park up turn the car off it wont start

Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities. It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.

To confirm the problem, the basic troubleshooting is required.

I have a Diesel Fiat Punto 1.3 multi jet 2003. I cant start the car it keeps turning over and over and will not start. Ive had the pump and injectors checked, changed the starter motor, had new glow plugs....

First I would check to make sure you have the proper fuel pressure at the pump - you should have 2 pumps - one that delivers from the tank, and a high pressure pump for the injectors. Make sure that both are delivering properly - you may need to prime the pumps for quite some time if air got into the lines. Also make sure the cam / crank sensors wiring has no corrosion and is making proper contact. Between 0 to 300/400rpm the signal can be slightly erratic until the engine is started so I would not worry too much about that.

A relay in the dash board ic clicking and truck wont start its a 1999 f250 super duty diesel. it turns over but wont start. i just installed new fuel pump its working fine

It sounds like the "Timer" for the glowplugs, but you may want to prime the Fuelfilter to provide a draw for the fuel. One of the problems is you lost the fuel in the lines as soon as the fuelpump was disconnected.

If you installed the fuelpump because of a "NO start" condition it may have been the Glowplug timer all along. You may have taken a wire loose for the Timer or broken a wire. The Timer box needs feedback from the Glowplugs.

Disconnect one of the Glowpug wires and put in a test light to the wire. Observe when you put the engine in RUN position if the Testlight will light up. If the Testlight does not light, you are not getting power to the Glowplugs.

Diesels need Glowplugs only for starting. After that, the compression operates the engine. The Timer for the Glowplugs regulates how long the Glowplugs work each cycle. You may have to test the Glowplugs if they get power but do not work.

Each Glowplug is like a sparkplug. You would need to pull them and connect 12 Volts to each. Use a jumper cable and do not touch the threads. Use power sparingly or you can melt them. But 1 by 1 you can see a difference in a bad or good glowplug by how each gets hot.
