Question about 2000 Chrysler Sebring
Car didn't want to turn on..after a few minutes it turned on. When I got on the freeway, with 2 minutes or so, my car just turned off. I took it to the repair shop. AFter a few days of inspection, I was told it was the timing belt, that quite a few teeth were missing. The cost to repair was $350.00. Is this a fair price?
HI there. My water pump just went out on my 2004 300M with 85000 miles. My cost was about $400 to replace the water pump and timing belt.
I recommend replacing the water pump at the same time since you have to take the timing belt off to change the water pump.
$350 is a good price. The dealer will charge you double that.

I live in el cajon, ca. i purchased a 2000 sebring convertible. It has been well taken care of. I want to do preventitive maintenance, by replacing the timing belt before it breaks.
i am limited in funds, as is everyone else. What are you ideas.
