Question about 1990 Buick Reatta
I have a S reg punto and its not starting!
I have: Change the cam belt, Spark plugs and got a new battery after each of these the car worked fine for roughly 2-3 weeks and now it stopped again.
It is just about to turn over when it make a 'clunk' noise then continues to crank (the light flicker when it goes clunk)
Starter motor? Auternator? key code? Electronics? I'm so confused!!
SOURCE: car turns over, but won't start
Too many choice.
3 main areas are fuel, spark, air.
Try a shot of ether, if it fires at all, it is a fuel problem.
Then we can get into more detail.

you need to change the flasher unit .... also check fuse # 24 on the fuse panel inside the vehicle. the flasher unit should be just under the dash on the steering wheel side... i have alot of information on that vehicle but i couldn't find where exactly the flasher unit is located.

Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities.
It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then
it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure
or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty
ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.
To confirm the problem, the basic troubleshooting is required.
