Question about 2003 Volkswagen Jetta TDI
Starts well but have to let it warm up several minutes even then the first couple of minutes the engine seems to bog like its going to stall when you apply gas. Once warm runs great. Ideas?
Don't know if it applies to your diesel but most later gas engined vehicles have a 'cold start' valve that supplies additional fuel to the fuel/air mix along with boosting the idle speed until some warming of the engine is sensed.
