Version:0.9 StartHtml: 105 EndHtml: 1264 StartFragment: 334 EndFragment: 1232 The fuel tank temperature sensor is used to detect the fuel temperature inside the fuel tank. The sensor modifies a voltage signal from the ECM. The modified signal returns to the ECM as the fuel temperature input. The sensor uses a thermistor which is sensitive to the change in temperature. The electrical resistance of the thermistor decreases as temperature increases.

SOURCE: 2004 Nissan Murano, back door can't open

I had a similar problem with a sienna and sometimes the cable ( inside the door) between the handle and the latch gets stuck in the sleeve. Kind of like the brake cable on a bike.
take the panel off by removing all the screws you can see on the panel and pull the panel off. There will be plastic pins holding it. Some of them may pop off and some will break off.
Drip oil down the sleeve so the cable slides freely. I used bike chain oil. Do not use WD40. This is **** and will not work for very long. Try the handles a few times before you put the panel back.

SOURCE: 2004 nissan murano low 3 quarts oil. no sign of a

Hard city driving during the hot summer can and will cause a bit of oil usage. 1 qt in 500 miles is not excessive. If you recently changed oil and are using a different brand this also can cause a bit of oil usage, due to the engine getting used to it. Add to full and keep a good ck on it, it should level out. if not check your air filter, pvc valve, and any vaccume hoese.

SOURCE: How do you remove the radio on a 2004 Nissan

yes there are many after market replacements - however- i highly recommend a pro -shop for this as the newer replacement radios have built in amps - - and if the amp is not properly set up - it will **** your wiring --- please for your own sanity - have it done professionally - also they many times do not even charge for installation. These newer computerized cars will go bad with the new hard core loud radios because of these built in AMPs that can ruin the wiring - - also take down the vin number and ask the local dealer if there have been any recalls or service bulletins

Testimonial: "I check at a few installers who would not touch it without the install brackets. I also checked with a specialist who wants to custom fab it $500."
