Question about 1996 Lexus ES 300
I have put new wiper blades and refills on my lexus es300 and the driver side will clear the water on the upward sweep and then lift off the windshield on the downward sweep. This was happening with the old set of wipers so I belive it is in the arm aligtnment. I can't see where ther would be an adjustment to this.
Grab hold of arm at bottom and the bend it down a bit from the top ,also try putting a drop of engine oil on the hinge at the bottom .or be like me and dont take car out in the rain.well not my jag anyway

Turn your wipers off, using the stalk on the left side of your steering column. Turn your ignition off and remove the key.
Pull the wiper blade up to lift it to the service position. Pull the front part of the blade down to position it at an angle.
Pull back the lock pin on the center part of the wiper blade (where it connects to the wiper arm). This unlocks the blade from the wiper arm.
Grasp the blade on each side and pull it down (away from the extended wiper arm) to release it from the "U" clip.
Repeat the process for the other wiper blade, if desired. Removing the driver's side and passenger's side wiper blade is the same.
Install the new wiper blade. Open the lock pin on the new blade, and then insert it into the wiper arm "U" clip. Close the lock pin and lower the wiper blade to its normal position.
