Question about 2007 Chevrolet Aveo Sedan
I have a 2007 Chevy Aveo Sedan. The oil light came on yesterday and stays on. I am about 100 miles overdue for an oil change. No knocking, engine seems to be running fine, oil level is fine and doesn't look burnt or over heated.
It sounds like a faulty sending unit the only way to know for sure is to install a mechanical gauge and measure pressure. or just replace the sender. it is not wise to drive it and just assume it is nothing major. if it is a mechanical problem will cost a lot more if you lock the engine up
