Doors will not open from inside

Could be Child safety lock help prevent the rear doors from being opened accidentally. The child safety lock levers are located on the edge of the rear doors.

will your key work in the passengers side?
If so I asume you have electric door locks. open drivers door from inside shut the passengers door. go around to the drivers side shut the door lock the doors from inside then unlock the doors open door shut door and try to start it...as far as disableing it you will have to take it to nissan electrical tec.

You say the pressures are good?The low side on this vehicle need to be lower than most,because it has a expansion valve,it needs to be around 30 psi,to about 35,if it is not,and the freon level is correct,then the expansion valve is bad.If this was helpful,please rate,thank you.

You have a problem with the linkage that goes from the inside handle to the door mechanism. You need to take off the door lining and make an inspection. It could be a broken clip, spring, retainer or a little over centre mechanism that has seized up. Should be an easy fix once you can see whats happening with the door liner off.

the doors sould lock when you start t drive, they will not unlock when you stop, but the design of the inside door handle will unlock the door when is opened from the inside.

Same problem on passenger door 92,000 miles. Dealer said he can reset the regulator inside the door by pressing button. I am looking for more information on this problem too. He estimates 1/2 hr (~$50) to do work.

linkage on inside of door has come undone. take off inside door panel and you will find a small rod that goes to the lock mechanism where the door closes opposite the hinges. follow the handle to the door lock.the nylon bushing may have broken.they are cheap to purchase at auto part stores.

You need to take the inside door cover to get access to the inner workings of the window motor, linkages etc. If nobody has used a jimy in the past to unlock your door, (the reason I say this it's because the linkage could be disingaged when someone tries to unlock your door with a jimy) ok if that didn't happended than its the door selenoid (its a small actuator that releases the lock once your press the open door button.) If you are mechanicly incline, I suggest you take your tools and go to a junk yard to get your selenoid. In the process you see how everything works inside your door and it makes it easy for you to figure out how to install the part. The other reason its the price, if you get this part through the dealer it's a little expensive.

try spraying a white grease chassis lube into the door latch, it may just be sticking.
