If you take the radio out and get the serial # and Vin# of your vehicle and call 1-888-mitsu2005. They helped me me with the code.

You should be able to press the menu (or select or func) button depending on model. If this doesn't work it may be the wrong code. Your best bet might be to take the car to your local mitsi dealer where they can unlock the radio for you (i had a similar problem with my '94 Commodore).
