Question about 2001 Volkswagen Golf
Revs went from 3,000 rpm to zero. Pump relay was replaced and car was fine except when rev to 4,000rpm power is lost again but doesn't cut out, just drops and then powers back up.
Timing was cheked and is fine.
Replaced mass air fow sensor last year.
Any ideas of what is wrong would be great.
Try a cam sensor as this monitors timing, could be getting weak and loseing it then repicking up
